Morehouse School of Medicine Department of Human Resources posts all career opportunities on a weekly basis. Candidates meeting the minimum qualifications for a position as outlined in the position description will be granted an interview and ultimately offered employment. To apply for faculty announcements, please follow the procedure as outlined in the guide to Faculty Appointment and Promotions Policies and Procedures.

When applying for vacant positions, please be sure to indicate the position title and "Request to Recruit Personnel" number (i.e. RP# 1111-Administrative Assistant) on your application and/or cover letter. We do not accept unsolicited applications/resumes. All positions are open to the MSM Community for 7 days before external candidates may apply. These positions are annotated with INTERNAL in the comment field of the posting.

In accordance with MSM’s current Employee Handbook, all employees are encouraged to explore specific positions both within and outside of their current department. Your interest in or application for a position vacancy shall not affect your current position or status. If you have completed six months of consecutive service, you are eligible to apply for other positions within the School. Information concerning institutional job opportunities can be obtained here.

Please submit an updated resume via email indicating the RP number and position title for which you are applying. As an internal candidate, you should annotate in subject line of your email “INTERNAL CANDIDATE” along with the RP# and position title. You may also bring your resume along with a cover letter indicating Internal Candidate with the position title and RP# to the Office of Human Resources located in the Harris Building.
